The hurts I faced this year
It made me mix mortar and concrete
Started to build the mansion I wanted
I cleared a lot of garbage off the land of friends
Dug some pretty deep foundation holes
Worked mostly alone or with very few help
and brought up a fortified base
I got to the point where I am not too attached anymore
I go with my instincts mostly
Wake early to continue from where I stopped
I do not wait for anyone anymore
I do my bit the best way I can
I watch with my ears and listen with my eyes now
I don’t do it because they’ll like it
I do it because it has to be done
I found myself arguing a lot when I care
Then I am quiet,I am done.
These saw my empire speedily rise up
I wish I had experienced these early on
I would have been far gone by now.
