Echoes of a Silent Struggle

I’m in a space where I’m too tired to convey my emotions into words,

I’m looking so strong that no one would believe I need healing.

I’m in that place where a sound mind is playing hide and seek with me.

The funnier the joke,

The heavier the emotions before.

Holding on to hope that only seems to be the name of an uncle of mine far overseas.

Appeasing the demons, they have been active for a while.

I need a lift—no, I need wings,

To catch some cold from the snow.

I’m just a comma in a wrong part of an error code.

Just 30ml, but it’s heavy,

I’ve been on the fence for long.

Hold me tight, little faith,

Forgive my faithless speeches.

I’m too tired of uncertainty,

1% left with no backup.

Help me, oh Lord,

For thy son calleth.
