24 Days Miscarried

In the spur of the the moment
I loved him
How foolish of me I know!
But has love ever made anyone wise?

He was tall and handsome
He had the sweetest face
And a smile that warmed my heart
I mean, wouldn’t you have been in love too?

He didn’t falter a bit
Made his intentions pretty clear
Huh! I was in the skies
Floating up high
I loved him.

With time brought a but.
But we couldn’t just be
Not even friends
Cos why would we?
When we, I mean I…
Fell inlove

Like morning dew
We dried up even before the sunrise
I guess it shouldn’t hurt soo much
Besides, we hadn’t even met.
