Check Up On Me – Poetic Koncept

I know I’ve been distant lately
I didn’t answer the call maybe
And that’s cos I didn’t know what to say
I couldn’t put myself together to know what a friend would say

I know I’ve changed maybe
I don’t smile like I did those days
And that’s cos I’m lost these days
I can’t find myself. No,
I don’t know myself.

I know I said I’m okay
I wished you’d seen through the okay
But that’s okay, I can’t even read beyond a day
I’m this this day, I’m that that day
I wish I knew them those days.

I know I’ve been cold these days
But don’t let me go in this way
I’m still trying to understand all this
And I don’t want to look up with you not there
Please stay this way, don’t stop.
