The last of Us

In our hurts, we bleed,
From the pain of old wine we’ve freed.
Lost in sweet memories,
now hard to maintain,
We laughed, we fought,
yet we couldn’t sustain.
We tried our best,
side by side we stood,
But now we’re too broken,
to hold on as we should.
Our love couldn’t withstand life’s cruel test,
Like sand slipping through fingers,
we’re dispersed.
Let’s reserve the last of us
Safe guard the last remains
For loving someone isn’t
always by staying together
Let’s love the rest from afar.
From afar I will still love you,
Celebrate your every wins
From afar I will cry to sleep
From afar I will wish u nothing
But the best.
From afar, I’m far from home.
