You Did This

I was your ember
That sliver of first fallen snow
You came out to play

I let you in and now?
I doubt every inch of me
All that I knew right,
you said they were wrong

Am I not the cute face anymore?
I love you how I know, you say no
Teach me how I do you, you still won’t take it

You sure have swept me off my feet
In a way that my heart fears
that loving you the more I know you
will be the toxic end of me
