On this journey of self discovery,
how do I explain to y’all that I couldn’t find me cos I wasn’t allowed?
By that, I should unrestrictedly be a lost soul.
It took the determined me to capture the me I wanted.
I broke free from the entanglement life had offered,
showed genuine decisiveness,
built myself without no one’s opinion.
My confidence was an inbuilt license valid than permits.
By self love, I realized I need no permissions;
to decide on what suits me,
to love me and be me,
to dream big and achieve,
to stand up and fight for me,
to make it and make me proud.
Before I broke the records,
I detached from every cord.
I left stones unturned cos I knew which precisely I desired.
No retreat, no stress.
Per my mission, I needed no permission.
