In this realm of
Eve, Eden, and the Serpent.

Resided occupants,
controllers, and invaders.
Apple of the eyes
yet its true essence
remained unseen.
Was it not meant to serve as a warning?
Did the apple stray far from the tree?
Or did it fall within easy grasp.
With just a single bite,
everything unraveled
delectable in taste was
the forbidden fruit, yummy.
Seized every opportunity,
rendering him a dummy.
A round fruit speaks
of the first adventure,
A quest to see what was !

If I were Eve,
I would have savored bites
of countless other apples,
exploring life’s delights, damn !
