Sometimes, I just want to confess

What I think about people

But then you come first

And I wonder if everyone is like you.

Kind, compassionate, and true

Though you have been hurt

And I still can see those scars

You remind me that there’s still good to find.

So I hold my tongue

And keep my thoughts in check

Knowing that negativity

Will only make us wreck.

So, I choose love and grace;

It’s difficult sometimes

But with that,

I can never be out of place.
