BETTER TOMORROW

I was told to paddle my own canoe
To my own desirable destination.
Left askew by departed parents in this wicked world, I took root.
Orphaned, yet unyielding to strife,
So I weave dreams with threads of hope.
Even in the darkness, I sculpt a resilient life, carving a destiny with strength to cope.

Like a lonely star in the midnight sky, I shimmer through darkness striving to soar.
Through struggles and tears, I defy for a better tomorrow.
My heart echoes their whispered words, guiding me through life’s tempestuous sea.
With challenges life affords, I find the strength to redefine my destiny.

Through storms of sorrow, I set sail chasing dreams that elude the night.
In the script of fate, I’ll write my tale, a testament to resilience, glowing so bright.
No parents’ arms to embrace my fears, yet their wisdom within me resides.
In the hope and melody of life, I dry my tears marching towards the dawn that hides.

For every trial shapes my soul anew, and every scar tells a story untold.
I paddle with courage, a steadfast view, towards a brighter tomorrow to unfold.”
And in the midst of all these,
My better tomorrow is assured.
