Beyond the Script

Is there more to life than this routine tale?
Go to school, get a job, marry, have kids,
Grow old; if we’re lucky and fade away.
Not all of us reach the end of that script.
But is this all?
The life they’ve packaged and sold?

Can we rewrite the story, just a little?
Maybe it’s me, searching for a new purpose.
Could someone guide me,
lend me a spark?

Sell me a fresh adventure—I’m ready to buy.
Or rent me a dream for the journey ahead.
Let me taste the colors of another life,
Feel the thrill of paths not yet tread.
