“DO YOU EVER BELIEVE?”
I don’t even know
how I’m going to die
and it makes me scared.
I can’t promise myself
to hold on when things shake
and it makes me sad.
I have seen strong men
and powerful towers fall
then I wander how deep is my faith.
I prayed for grace
then I felt bad and sorry
if others weren’t praying.
I’m tempted to wake God up
then I was told he’s watching over us.
Even if I ask, I would only be asking more.
So I wait and still hope
nobody reads too much meaning
into this and ask, “Do you ever believe?”
