FELL

I couldn’t have. I realized early on, I had no capacity. For example;

Every stepback gave me a room,
A room created by pain.
Dealing with the hurt and pain,
All by myself and standing tall
Creates room for my independence.

My heart strings begin to cut.
Fall off where they are weak,
Wrapping itself back in its shell.
Because who wants to keep falling at a place where they won’t be caught?
